I have a strong background in soccer, having been a varsity starter as a freshman at one of the state's largest schools, led by a legendary coach with a history of district and state titles. When our coach retired, I was selected to be a representative on the interview committee. My commitment to the sport extends to the club level, where I've played for a number of years, and most recently have started on the U19 team as a 14 and 15-year-old. I also contribute as a volunteer coach in the club's youth academy and serve as a certified referee. On the field, I bring versatility to my team. While I primarily play center midfield positions (either as a 6 or 10), I have also excelled as a center-back, right-footed left-back, left-winger, and in the forward position at the number 9 role.
In my pursuit of my goals, I've sought additional training to complement my soccer journey. I have worked for multiple years with a longtime Big Ten and SEC Strength and Conditioning coach, to enhance my physical capabilities. To further develop my individual skills and understanding of the game I work weekly with a local professional training center. Academically, I've excelled with a 3.88 GPA at the state's top-ranked high school, taking accelerated math courses and engaging in AP and Honors programs. My true passion lies in wildlife biology, marine biology, and zoology, and I'm seeking a college that allows me to further explore these areas. I am determined to continue my academic and athletic journey in a collegiate setting that values both my soccer ambitions and my academic pursuits.
