Reagyn Messenger '24 Recruiting Profile

Being a college athlete has always been my dream however that dream hadn't always included soccer. I was a duel athlete for 12 years of my life trying to pursue gymnastics and soccer at the same time. My goal was to be a collegiate  gymnast but it wasn't until COVID that I realized soccer was my true passion. After spending my whole life trying to balance both sports, I know what it takes to have dedication and a certain drive to be the best that I can whether that's on the field or in the classroom.  Academics is also very important to me so I know what I need to be able to do to handle both school and athletics. Something that I also look forward to when it comes to college soccer is the team aspect of it. I have been on lots of teams within my two sports and think that being apart of a good team is also what helps the team succeed.  I really look forward to playing soccer in college to see how I can move up to the next level while still improving my skills.
