I come from a small town with a small athletic program. I hold more than half of the school's stats records, have been named to the all-tournament teams every year, and was the youngest to receive honorable mention and all regional teams at my school. I've had experience in carrying a team while leading them. I have played in all positions, where ever my coach needed me that game at that moment, so I have experience in all positions which is different from most higher competitive athletes. I'm a good candidate because I am dedicated, I am determined, and I have a passion for making myself better. I am very competitive with a desire to win so I give everything I have for my teammates, my coach and myself. I leave it all on the field each game! My goal is to play at the next level and to use my academic excellence and my athletic ability to help achieve that goal with as little financial burden as possible.
Let me introduce you to the other side of me. I am a well-rounded student, being involved in many clubs and organizations within my school and community. Some of these include Future Business Leaders of America, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, and Fellowship Christian Athletes. I am a member of the Owen County Junior Chef team, holding a state title, which landed me a part time job at a locally owned bakery. I am also involved in the Student Technology Leadership Program, which I also hold a state title for. I continued this program as an STLP student employee for the Owen County Board of Education in the district technology department. I am also the kicker for my high school varsity football team.
I have many hobbies and interests. Music has always been an instrumental part in my life. It started at a young age when I would sing along with my grandmother while leading the congregation in hymns. This love for music inspired me to learn to sing and play instruments such as the piano and guitar. Another interest of mine would be the love of nature, hiking, and exploring. I live in a very rural town, so the outdoors is our way of life. Fishing, four-wheeling, kayaking, and campfires are just some of the activities I enjoy doing with my family and friends.
I would love to become part of a successful women's soccer program!
