I started playing soccer at a very young age, and seemed to have a natural passion at it very young. It wasn't until I started travel soccer when I was voluntarily thrown into the keeper position. My travel coaches would always apologize to me and my parents as they know "no one wants to play in net, but we feel confident with her in there." However I would always correct them, stating that I loved playing in net, and that became my strict position from there on out. Currently, I enjoy leading a group of my peers both on and off the athletic field. I'm a dedicated athlete who lives to give my full potential whenever I am on the field, and in the classroom. I aspire to get into a nice college, play soccer, and study to become an occupational therapist! My therapy passion started when I was receiving physical therapy for an injury. Playing college soccer is a huge goal of mine, and something I am very willing to work hard for.
My grades have always been a priority of mine, right along with athletics. I have been taught the lesson that school comes first, athletics next. I believe this has motivated me to learn how to manage my time, and figure out my top priorities. From the start of my schooling, I've always liked to lead in the classroom, whether it was organizing a group project, or helping someone who didn't understand.
