Hello, my name is Megan Taltavull and I have played soccer since I was three years old. I am committed to do the best I can both academically and athletically, as well building strong relationships in every aspect of my life. I am dedicated and hardworking because it is important to me that my team can feel like they depend on me and I love the feeling of accomplishment after earning respect from those around me. In the classroom, I pride myself in always giving my best effort and striving to be an ambitious learner, willing to take on challenges with a positive attitude. On the field, I try to be a confident and encouraging member of my team, no matter the outcome of the game. It is important to me that I am mentally locked in all 90 minutes, never missing a moment to give my efforts, whether that is making a play on the ball or providing vocal instruction to the other players on the field. I enjoy playing soccer because I love the feeling of gratification after making a big play, going up against amazing competition to test my abilities, and most importantly, the friendships that I have been able to obtain from playing this beautiful sport. I am looking to continue my soccer career at a college where I know I will have a great experience both as a student and as an athlete.
