I am self-motivated, coachable, and passionate about soccer and the sciences. As a starting varsity midfielder and forward, I am confident in my ball control, speed and technical ability. I love the competitiveness of the sport and the ability to work as a team to achieve a common goal. Each time I walk on the field, I try to better myself and uplift my team members.
Soccer has taught me that it takes a strong work ethic and discipline to balance academics and sports. During high school's off-season, I run indoor and outdoor track in addition and play on my club soccer team to stay connected to athletics and improve my fitness. For building a sense of community and spirit within the athletic program, I have also been coach-nominated for the Athletic Leadership Club at Glenelg High School. It is this same commitment to soccer that I would like to demonstrate at the collegiate level while I pursue a Pre-Medicine/Biology degree.
