Addison Griffith '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Addison (Addy) Griffith, and I am a junior at Col Zadok Magruder HS in Rockville, MD. I recently joined Pipeline’s ENCL team in Baltimore, MD, as a Center Back. For as long as I can remember, I have always been a Center Back and I am comfortable and calm in the position.

Playing in HS was such a fun and exciting time, where I got to play soccer with my friends. This year, we celebrated our third consecutive year, winning the Regional Champion title. Winning this title is very special because our school has only won this three times in its history, or at least as far back as anyone can find in the records.

Most recently, I played Club soccer for FCGB CoE in Germantown, MD, where former Serbian professional soccer players coached me. The coaches taught me a great deal about reading the game and learning to play the game from East to West and the beauty of passing and building out of the back versus kickball. While at FCGB, my teammates and I worked hard and earned a spot as the #1 team in Maryland and in the Country for 2022. During that time, we were also State Cup Champions. While I was proud of these accomplishments, it was time for me to move on to a more competitive team and tougher competition to become an even stronger player.

I am excited to have joined Pipeline Soccer Club in Baltimore, MD, on the girl's 2007 ECNL team as a Center Back. We will be playing in many high-level tournaments this year, and I am excited about the challenge.

Over the years, I have played other sports, such as Basketball, Lacrosse, and Wrestling, but I have always felt most comfortable with soccer.

Currently, I have a weighted GPA of 4.2 and take several AP and Honors classes. I would like to continue my soccer career in college while focusing on academics, and my interests are in Engineering, Computer Sciences, and Kinesiology.
