Hi, my name is Emma Jewell and I am looking to extend my soccer career past high school and play in college. I have been playing soccer for 12 years total and club for 8 years. I have always been a goalkeeper since I was little. I've spent years dedicating myself to learning the position and being the best version of myself on the field. I made the state ODP team for Maryland and was given the opportunity to play internationally in England. I strive to be a leader and have a positive impact on my teammates. I have run soccer clinics for elementary age kids as well as coached younger teams. I have been given opportunities to guest play with older teams at a higher level and have learned a lot from the example those girls set. I want to help people through my career which is why I'm pursuing athletic training. Being a captain on my club team has taught me how to be a leader and create a positive environment at practices and games so everyone can succeed. My favorite form of soccer is futsal because I am constantly involved in the play and have the ability to use footwork on the court. I'm looking for an environment that pushes everyone on the team to give their best effort while being supportive of others.
