Ashley Spellman '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I have been 4 years old. I started playing club at U11 and at U13 I became the started goalkeeper for the Aztec Red Devils coached under Dushawne Simpson. I was on my varsity high school team less then half way through my freshmen year. My sophomore year I became the starting goalkeeper for my varsity soccer team.Both my freshmen and sophomore year I got awards for my high school team. Getting the Relentless Intensity Award my freshmen year and the " Fred Factor" award my sophomore year. This award is for the most passionate player and a player who dedicates their life to the team and the sport.  I excel in academics getting my grades better and better each quarter in the school year. This year I was named the top history student in my school for the second quarter. My character is different from most. I'm a very hard worker and won't stop till i get it done. I am funny, love to joke around and have fun, but know when it time to be serious and work hard. I am very athletic and active. Being outdoors is my favorite place to be. I love what I do, I love being a goalie and playing soccer its my passion.
