Mikayla Norelus '24 Recruiting Profile

My entire life I have been around soccer and have always loved playing.

I started playing when I was three years old;  after watching my older sister 

play every week I realized that I wanted to learn soccer too.

I have had coaches that pushed me beyond what I thought I could do to make me a better player/teammate.  I've overcome thinking I was not good enough to deserve the better opportunities from being in the wrong environment of soccer to get to where I am now with encouraging 

coaches.  

I can play multiple positions, although playing forward is my strongest position as I am very fast on the field.

When  I am playing soccer I have a wider mindset and determination to where I want myself and my teammates to learn and to win.   I will do everything on and off the field I to help make it happen. 

I am looking forward to college and studying Criminology/Forensic Science.  I know playing a sport in college is a unique and exciting opportunity but I look forward to the challenge and hope to continue playing soccer in the future.
