My name is Aoife Tykulsky and I have been passionate about and have been playing soccer since I was six years old. I have had the goal of playing soccer at the collegiate level as long as I can remember. I currently play for Seacoast United Soccer Academy Girls Academy, the Olympic Development Program and the Newburyport High School Varsity team.
My greatest strength is in playing forward positions and I am usually a striker. I am very fast, athletic, hard working, maintain the ball with the defenders behind me and I have a strong drive to score. I am self motivated and always work towards developing new skills and actively seek out constructive feedback. I am also invested in the success of my team and building strong relationships both on and off the field with my teammates. Always up for a challenge, I look forward to new opportunities for growth.
Regarding my studies, I am very diligent and do well in school. I have volunteered in the youth soccer arena and look forward to new coaching opportunities to share what I have learned with younger players. Finally, I have other hobbies and spend time skiing, surfing and swimming whenever possible.
I aspire to attend a college that will integrate my scholastic abilities and provide a high level of competition, coaching and personal growth within my sport. I aim to contribute and be a valuable asset to the team, my peers and my coaches.
