I began playing soccer for the local travel club when I was eight years old and quickly realized how much I liked the sport. My sports career grew along with this club and I continued to play with familiar coaches and players. However, as I learned more information about becoming a college level student-athlete it started to become obvious that I would need to change clubs and enter a more competitive atmosphere. This was a difficult transition especially because it meant playing with new players and coaches, which was something that I had never had to experience before this. However, through this transition, I have gained the ability to adapt to new surroundings, drive myself to work hard, and focus on my future goals. Most importantly through all of this, I have learned that what I really want to do in the future is play college soccer for a competitive team.
