I am a 18 year old defenseman who plays for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
My immediate goal is to continue my development and play a key role in winning a championship with my team. My ultimate goal is to play NCAA College hockey and graduate from a well respected college. I am a very mobile defenseman who makes a good first pass out of the zone and in transition. I like to bring an edge to the game and play with physicality and toughness. I enjoy the process of being sound in my own end and learning the position. I use my skating to be very effective at defending and killing penalties. I like to join the rush and be an active part of the offense. I am an offensive threat off the rush and on the power play. I am a versatile player who is also able to play forward. My strengths include my skating, vision, puck-handling, and hockey IQ. My coaches trust me to play in all key situations, including both special teams.
I also understand the importance of being a good teammate, student, and citizen, and try to always carry myself with those values in mind.
