Natalie Jamison '17 Recruiting Profile

I am Natalie Jamison and I am a Junior at Burnsville High School in Burnsville, Minnesota. I have been playing varsity soccer since I was a Sophomore. My varsity team is in the South Suburban Conference, which many consider the most competitive conference in the state of Minnesota. This past weekend, after my team made it to the Sectional Final for the 2nd year in a row,  I was honored to be selected to the Minnesota All-State Second team by the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association. I was also selected to the All-Conference First team for my conference.  During the club season, I play in the USYS Premiere League for Minnesota Thunder Academy. We usually play several showcase events between the months of December and May.  I can play several positions, but my two primary positions are center back and center midfielder. The quote above really inspires me to keep working as hard as I can, and to always do whatever I can to improve. I've been playing competitive soccer for 8 years now, and I can't even imagine what my life would be like without it. One thing that I always strive to do is to make sure that my work ethic in training is as high as it is in games. As much as I love playing soccer, I also enjoy watching professional games. Watching those games helps me learn new ideas and techniques that I can apply to my own game. My strengths are considered to be my foot skills, being calm on the ball, pinpoint passing, and finding the gaps between defenders. I've also been told I have excellent field vision. I enjoy getting assists and making the right pass for my teammates to score.  I really have a passion for the game, and hope to play soccer at the college level.
