Olivia Mattison '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia Mattison. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old, and I knew from the very beginning it would be my joy. I have been a goalkeeper since a was ten, and I have always felt something special when I am in the net.  My aspirations have always been high and I know I want to play soccer in college, as a career, and for the rest of my life. 

I have exceptional speed and quick thinking skills. I am a team leader, and encourage my teammates while helping them improve.  I am coachable and confident with the ball. I also use constructive criticism to communicate with my teammates efficiently. Every day I push myself to be the hardest working goalkeeper I can be. Education wise, I have been thoroughly successful. I manage my time wisely, and prioritize important tasks. I have continued to maintain a perfect GPA going through my 9th grade year of high school, and have been on the A honor roll during the entirety of my middle school career and continuing into my 9th grade year. 

My goal is to attend a college that will help me succeed in becoming who I have always wanted to be. I strive for excellence, and I look for schools that do the same.
