My goal is to pursue a degree in education with a major/minor in history. I am excited to get into the classroom and work with students in order to help them achieve academic success along with the desire to become lifelong learners. I believe that every student has the potential for success and being able to help them get to "their success" is what drives me to want to teach.
I believe that I am a good candidate for a collegiate team because of my drive and dedication to the sport of soccer. I have played since kindergarten and it has been my goal to be a successful college player since middle school. I played for our junior varsity team at 7th grade and moved to a starting position for the varsity team my 8th grade year. I was all-conference last year and I made the All-State Honorable Mention team as a defender. This year I played in the forward position for almost all of my games. I am a versatile player. I play forward and and defense, along with back up goalie as needed.
I have had academic success in the classroom and take my education very seriously. I have volunteered as a soccer coach, helped in a school that provides special education services to students, rang bells at Christmas for the Salvation Army and I am currently a peer tutor in a kindergarten classroom.
I work hard for what I believe in and I am dedicated to any endeavor that I take on. I hope you are having a successful soccer season, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Paisley Jones
