- 2018 Highlights
Personal Statement
I have played soccer since I was 3. Even then I played with 110%. I have always enjoyed playing the boys due to their more aggressive nature. I always train to become better in anything I do, and I am very self motivated and disciplined. Every morning, I get up at 4:30 for CrossFit. After CrossFit I perform my own lower body workout followed by technical skills training. After completing my workout, I get dressed and head off to school. I work efficiently to maintain my 4.0 GPA while being actively involved in Mu Alpha Theta (my mathematics competition team), PLTW Engineering, Spanish club, as well as honors, AP, and Dual Credit classes. Once school is complete, I work out with my high school soccer team until 5:00 followed by boxing from 6:30-7:30 twice a week. In addition, I volunteer at my local church helping with an after school youth program as well as referee in a youth soccer program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have been playing D1 travel soccer since I was 10 years old with numerous medals and awards throughout the years. It has been my life’s goal to continue playing soccer for as long as I can at the highest competitive level possible. I intend to play soccer in college and pursue an education in mechanical engineering. I am hard working and eager to listen and learn to make me the best athlete I can be.
