Personal Statement
I am one of the youngest of 7 and my little brother with special needs is my hero and has taught me how to operate from a place of gratitude, to always give my best, and to positively impact the world by doing great things for others. My soccer superpowers are: I score with both feet, I am fast and have accurate ball placement, I am creative in a pinch, and I know when to shoot and when to pass. I play equally well wing, striker, and attacking mid.
My coaches like that I have the skill to implement feedback right away and that I consistently preform and have a 3 year club average of 13 goals per season. I am unique in that I possess all 3 characteristics of a good forward player: a target player, a speed player, and a finisher. I believe that your mental game and attitude is as important as your skill level.
In my free time I organize a yearly gift giving for children who live in the Ambassador Pediatric Nursing Home, and also do a yearly team building activity where we make wheelchair ponchos to keep children in wheelchairs warm. I work in the summers at a camp for special needs kids and am also involved in the TOP soccer program for special needs kids who play soccer. I volunteer coach soccer at Creighton Prep in the summers and with some neighborhood kids in my club as well.
