Hi! My name is Haylee Coviello, I am from Merrimack, New Hampshire and currently a Junior at Merrimack High School. My goal is to grow as a player on and off the field, and to better my teammates as well in their soccer careers. I am a good candidate for your college soccer team because I understand that there is more to the game than just a ball and your feet. It requires hard work, discipline, commitment, and all around soccer IQ. To simply say ''I love playing soccer'' is an understatement. I love to play soccer because it challenges me. Soccer teaches me to push myself, to remain calm in challenging situations, to be proactive and patient, and how to work with people. Despite all of this, I simply love playing soccer for the competition and for the love of the game I have had since I was four years old.
My speed, field awareness and ability to read a play makes me a good candidate for your team. I am a flexible player. I can play forward, outside midfielder and outside back. As someone who cares about their academics just as much as soccer, I put effort into all my classes and hold extremely high standards for myself. I am taking AP and Honors classes, to push myself academically while balancing soccer the best I can. Academically, my goal is to maintain A's to raise my GPA, and to take the necessary classes that will best prepare me for my major in college.
