Jenna O’Malley 2023: DM/OB/CB at Hasbrouck Heights High School, NHS 3.75 GPA

Now into my senior year, as a varsity starter for Hasbrouck Heights High School Lady Aviators, I am ready to take on a leadership role, as Captain. The team has started off the season strong and has yet to catch stride. A new coaching staff, rotation and formations present challenges that we are ready to tackle as a unit.   

Over the summer, visiting schools and attending ID camps, I found the best positions that fit my style of play at the next level are defensive midfield and outside back.  As a left foot dominant player, my size and strength offer a unique set of obstacles to the opposition.  

My club Team NJFC Elite will begin tournament season in mid-November. 

I train at SG Elite Soccer 3 days a week currently, with coach Sam Gehman. 2 Days of 1 on 1 and a Saturday group session with some of the best College and high school local talent. I have been fortunate to train with D1 athletes at game speed there. As a left foot dominant player, I train to balance power in both feet. 

I am actively seeking college programs with 2023 roster openings at my positions DM/OB/CB.  My collegiate goals are to adapt and excel in the classroom and on the field at the college or university of my choice, actively contribute and represent my team, school, graduate and move on to the next challenge.

I am currently interested in STEM, healthcare and am particularly interested in a pharmacy major.  

I am fortunate to have a deep support system which allows me to be dedicated to my studies and chosen athletics.  My preference is open, to find my fit,  wherever that opportunity is and commit the the coaches, staff and team.
