Claudia Engels '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college is to better my future and to improve myself in academics and athletics. Ultimately I hope to be a role model for younger student athletes. I believe that in order to be a great athlete you must first succeed  academically. I am a passionate player who loves the game and is always looking towards ways to self improve myself so that I can help my team succeed. What makes me different from other recruits in  athletics is that I may not necessarily be the best player on the field, but that does not mean that I will give up and just quit. In character I believe it is important to have integrity, self control and perseverance. I am a student-athlete which means that i am a student before and athlete. I am very use to balancing two and know what I have to get done in order to be successful at the task in hand.
