Hi my name is Nadia Evola. I am a devoted soccer player who loves the game more than anything. I have been playing soccer ever since I was 3 years old and have been solely focused on it ever since. Entering high school, I was on the JV team as a freshman, and as a sophomore and junior I was on the Varsity team. Unfortunately the beginning of my sophomore season I tore 3 ligaments in my knee and needed surgery, so I was out for a year. But that didn't stop my love for the game! I worked harder than ever to come back and I continued to attend every single practice and game for my club team and high school team. Now that I am back, I am more determined than I ever have been.
I want to play soccer in college at a high level. I am extremely hard working, dedicated, and I always give 110% effort at all times. I leave all I have on the field and I'm always preparing in advance for the next session. I have never been late to any practice and I will keep that record. I am always the first one to arrive and last one to leave my practices. I help the coaches set up, clean up, and whatever else is needed.
When it comes to choosing a school that's a good fit for me, I am pretty open minded. I am mainly looking at schools close to me, near the East Coast. Some of the states I am trying to stay near is New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. I am still unbiased to a lot of colleges because my main focus is that it is a good fit for me. I don't really care about the size of the school, as long as I can find a good supportive team and good education! My top two choices for a major right now is sports med and kinesiology. However, I am still not certain on a specific major right now, so it could change in the future.
My goals in college are to continue playing soccer at a competitive level. My main goal is to make a difference on the team and set examples for the younger people after me. When I leave, I want to know I made an impact on the team and that I tried the hardest I could!
