My name is Ana. Im a sophomore. Im 15 years old and i play soccer. Ive played since i was 5 years old but began in a team at the age of ten. When i got to the age of 13, travel teams and clubs wanted me. I went through their tryouts and got accepted right away. Sadly, i couldn't continue after one week for money issues. My mom worked two jobs but it still want enough. I felt for a moment that i couldn't accomplish my dreams because i didn't have the money to be in most teams. I realized one day that soccer isn't about having money, its about passion and happiness. I find happiness in a simple soccer ball. I practice hours and hours becoming better and the moments i realized i have nothing else to work on, those are the moments i know i have to work harder. I go to a vocational school. Sadly, there isn't an all girls team but i do play with and against guys. I am both JV and varsity. The reason I'm not fully in varsity is because most varsity buy teams play more ruff than usual and my coach thinks its best for me to stay in between. I started in all games as a freshman. Now I'm captain of the jv team, which is being captain of a team full of guys. I play all positions; Defense, mid, forward and i have experience with goal keeping. My main two positions would be Defense and mid. Overall i play any position and I'm a very hard worker.
