Among the top five students in the class of 2024 at Wall High School, I have been a varsity goalkeeper since freshman year. I take my academics just as seriously as my soccer playing and I am constantly striving to improve on and off the field. I plan on pursuing a career in sports medicine and am looking for a university with an excellent academic history that will foster my passion for learning.
I currently play for the PDA Blue Flash and as a goalkeeper, I believe my position on the field gives me a unique advantage. It is imperative that I communicate my observations to my teammates effectively. Distribution is also key and I worked hard to perfect my drop-kick and am proud to say I consistently reach well past the 50. During a 1v1, I aggressively come out of the box to cut off the striker's angles or tackle the ball.
Learning from my mistakes has been the key to my success thus far and I am constantly looking for ways to improve on and off the field. My work ethic is second to none and in addition to my academic and athletic pursuits, I am an employee at my family's party shop and a volunteer coach for elementary-aged children that attend a weekly goalkeeping camp.
