My goal for the academic side of attending college is to get a thorough education that will help me be successful in the career that I choose to go into after getting my undergraduate degree. On the athletic side of things, I want to be on a team that has a welcoming environment while still having a competitive edge to it. Overall, I know that I can be a great addition to any team because I’ve been able to balance school and soccer with a 4.0 GPA and higher so far, and I know that I can be a positive voice on any team that I join. I have experienced firsthand how detrimental negativity can be to team chemistry and personal confidence, and my personal goal with my current team and my future team is to do my best to make sure everyone feels supported and encouraged while still communicating effectively. One of the main jobs of goalkeepers is to see the whole field and use that to make quick decisions, and I know that I’m a smart goalkeeper who can think steps ahead and prevent any goal-scoring opportunities the other team may have from happening in the first place. This and my dedication to creating a positive environment make me a great candidate for any competitive team.
