I'm Zoë Kadlec, a Senior from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Class of 2024. I have been a starting defender on my high school soccer team for the last five years. I believe in hard work and dedication. Soccer, reading, writing and art fill my bucket. I value growth and perseverance. I pride myself in my ability to work with others and always looking out for the underdogs. As the captain of my team, I believe in creating a positive, encouraging culture, because I believe people and players can truly grow and flourish when given the grace to make mistakes comfortably. It's not the team with the best players that win, but the player with the best team that wins.
I currently play on the only DPL 06 team in New Mexico. We won the State Cup in 2022 and 2023 and traveled to Nationals in Boise Idaho.
My current GPA is a 4.16 and I am heavily involved in the school community. I am a leader of the Women's Advocacy Coalition, a member of Distinguished Artist Guild, a member of the volunteer group Bosque Art Therapy Society and a member of Spreading Literacy in Community (SLIC).
