Heather Hughes '20 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer when I was in ninth grade. This upcoming fall will be my fourth year. I have been playing on a varsity team for most of my high school career. When I am on the field my only focus is the game, I give one hundred percent the whole time no matter what the outcome may be. I believe that you shouldn't try to be the best on the team, but the best for the team. Not only do I focus on improving my soccer skills but I also push to do the best I can in all of my classes. During the past few years I have been a part of the National Honor Society where I was given the opportunity to help my community. I am also in the National Art Honor Society, and am currently the secretary. I enjoy helping those around me. It is very inspiring to see that I can make a difference.
