Jessica Vaccare '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a defender from East  Aurora, NY and will graduate in the 2012 class. I specialize in the defensive positions but have had experience in all of the positions on the field excluding goal keeper. I have several years of club and two years of High School varsity experience as a starter. I was the captain of my High School Varsity team and the last two years we were divisional champs with an undefeated divisional record (23-0-1) while matching our school record for shutouts (13) in my junior year. I am a smart and aggressive soccer minded athlete with good field vision that does not back down from any challenge and was selected as a divisional All-Star. Also, for multiple years, I received off season training from various members (General Manager, Head Coach, and players) of the Western New York Flash Professional Women’s Soccer team.

I am a well rounded student athlete with many extracurricular activities (National Honor Society, Girls Scouts, Certified lifeguard, work, etc). I love to play soccer and would consider my college experience complete if I am part of the women’s soccer team. I plan on majoring in Environmental, Marine, or Biological sciences but am generally looking for a school with a wide variety of science majors.
