Rachel Nasshorn '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. Since that very first day I played, I fell in love with the game. As I have grown up, my dream has been to play high level soccer competitively, and to be able to play in college. Throughout the years I have put in the work, the training, and the heart, in order to succeed. I believe that this will allow to me accomplish my goal.

Not only, do I have quick feet and great passing skills, and I have big foot and a big shot. Additionally, I am a great teammate who supports everyone, and I try to set an example for the rest of my peers, both on and off the field. I always encourage my teammates and offer positive motivation as well. I have been constantly told by my numerous coaches that my personality makes me easily coachable and I encourage criticism, as this makes me a stronger student athlete. If I had to pick one trait that I am known for, it is my effort. My belief is giving 110% on all activities, ranging from school, to soccer to friends and family.

In regards to me academics, I put in the same amount of effort, resulting in a very high “A” average. I also am active in my school and community, taking part in many clubs, and leadership positions. My mindset is to attend a college where I can challenge myself in both the academic and athletic realm of things. I am open to any and all options and I want to find the college that is best suits me, both academically and athletically. With these things said, I desire to play at the highest level possible, positively impacting myself and the college I choose.
