Personal Statement
My goal to play soccer in college started when I began playing the game competitively at eight years old. I am now a junior at Notre Dame School in New York City and I currently play for the U17 STA Academy in Morristown, NJ as a defensive midfielder. In the spring of 2020, my team joined the Girls Academy League (GAL).
From 2017 to 2019, I played for the Princeton Soccer Academy National team, which is a select group of players from three regional clubs, and I co-captained them to two consecutive NJ State Cup finals. In 2019, our team won the USYS Regionals and finished our season at the championships placing third in the nation.
I am a highly committed player who gives my best effort on and off the field. I work hard as a student to achieve a high GPA, and I am proud to be a member of a peer leadership program at my school. I will continue to drive myself as a soccer player in hopes of being recruited to a school with a strong athletics program, and one that is also a good fit for me academically.
