Hi, my name is Ava and I’m in the class of 2025. I currently play for Burlington Christian (HS) and PTFC Premier (Club). I fell in love with soccer at a very young age and it’s my dream to play in college.
Soccer has been a big part of my life since I was 4 years old. Neither of my parents played soccer so I’ve had to learn by watching older players and listening to my coaches. I enjoy being part of a team, working together to accomplish big goals. I also like the pressure that comes when my team needs someone to make a big play.
I have played outside winger for the past few seasons, mixed in with attacking mid and forward. One compliment I consistently hear from people is that I have a calmness to my game, especially in stressful moments. I believe my greatest attribute is my vision of the field and ability to make key, timely passes and decisions.
My goal is to play college soccer and to be a successful student athlete. With me, coaches will get someone that’s hard working, disciplined, driven and committed. Most of all they will get a player that is coachable and a great teammate!
