I am a senior (class of 2023) who has played varsity high school soccer since the 8th grade, when I first became a co-starter on the varsity team. My high school, Durham Academy, competes at the highest level of private schools in North Carolina. My club team is NCFC ECNL RL 05 Elite, which is our club's top team in the ECNL Regional League. I have also played for North Carolina's ODP team and was selected for the South Region ODP Pool. Some of the things I am most happy about from my coaching evaluations are that I am highly coachable, have great potential to continue to grow as a goalkeeper, focused, a hard worker, that I am fearless, mentally strong, and have good hands. I am very committed to academics, which will be important in my college selection. I attend one of the highest ranked academic schools in North Carolina, which will prepare me well for college. I work hard in the classroom, as well as on the soccer field. I have a 4.05 GPA on an unweighted 4.0 (A average) scale. My ACT score is 34. My courses are challenging and have a STEM concentration with currently four AP courses. I also participate in an internship for a non-profit that aims to empower young women in India through healthcare jobs that work to improve eye healthcare there. Thanks for taking the time to review my personal statement!
