I started playing soccer when I was 11 years old. That’s a late start in comparison to may of my peers, but ever since I began I’ve become very passionate, and want to achieve playing at the collegiate level.
I push myself in every aspect of my life to be the best version of me. Whether that’s putting in extra work outside of practice, or taking a rigorous course in school. I always strive for greatness.
I have been told by various coaches that my soccer IQ and athleticism are very strong attributes, alongside my technical abilities. I am a leader. I lead my team by communicating when I am on the field, but also by sharing encouraging words whether I’m in the game or not. I have also been told I am very coachable, and my ability to quickly adjust to feed back or criticism is very good.
In school I work hard to maintain a high GPA, while also playing for my high schools soccer team, indoor track team, as well as my Girls Academy club soccer team year round. I am apart of our Black student union(BSU) and Sports Medicine club. I cannot wait to begin my next chapter in both sports and academics when making the next steps towards college.
