My name is Ellengton Hill and I will be entering into the 9th grade for the 2016/2017 school year. I currently play for two soccer clubs. I have been playing soccer since I can remember and have been a part of traveling or club soccer since I was approximately 8 years old.
This past school season I played Middle School soccer and played all positions on the field with the exception of goalie. This summer I am playing a defensive midfielder position for a majority of the games played so far. I am a team player and put more of an emphasis on how my team does than scoring goals. I play an aggressive style of soccer and do not shy away from body contact. I also participate in basketball, volleyball and track.
Academically, I am in an advanced math program and I take my academics very seriously. As I enter into High School next year, I anticipate continuing to take advanced level classes in preparation for college. This past year I was awarded the President's Award for Academic Excellence. After High School, I would like to study to become a pediatric physical therapist.
In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family and entertain my younger siblings. I enjoy cheering on my younger brother in his athletic events. I also volunteer at my church and have been accepted as a volunteer coach for the local Special Olympics Chapter.
