Hanna Zuzek '16 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Hanna Zuzek. I am about to begin my fourth year as a starting varsity soccer player. My main strengths as a soccer player are my speed, my vision of the field and my natural instincts toward the game being played. I have started primarily in the midfield positions, but have also been used as a starting forward and defense player depending on my team's needs. This past year, I was used as a forward for my high school team. I feel comfortable in any position except goalkeeper! If my team needs me to mark a key player on the opposing team, I will stick to her like glue. Because of my versatility and leadership skills, I frequently lead drills and orchestrate plays for my team. My leadership has extended acknowledgment not only to my soccer team, but also to my varsity basketball team. I consequently served as a captain for my varsity basketball team during my sophomore year, and my junior year. I was also chosen to be a captain for our high school soccer team during my  senior year. I am proud to have been an honor roll student every quarter of school. This spring I was inducted into the National Honor Society. I work hard on the field and in the classroom. My dream for college is to love the school I go to, and to be a positive representative of that school in the classroom and on the woman's soccer field. I am a hard worker, a leader, and I love the sport!
