I look forward to finding a college that will best suit me and push me both academically and athletically. I have maintained a 4.3 or higher throughout my freshman year, with three honors classes. I am a versatile player and during my first high school season I played centerback, outside back, and defensive mid. I am currently playing outside mid, outside forward, and defensive mid. My biggest strengths as a player are my passing (short passes or long balls switches), my speed, knowing what to do with the ball and off ball, and my communication.
During my first year of high school soccer, I played on the varsity team and learned so much about the game. I love getting a chance to play with older players and learning and growing as a player from them. After the season, I was selected for the Lorain County Rising Stars game and had the opportunity to play against some of the best freshman and sophomore girls in my area. Also in 2021, I played on my club’s 07 boys NPL team and was one of their starting center backs. I felt I grew a lot as a player by playing in this faster and more competitive setting.
As a Captain on my current club team, I work to be the best leader I can be, whether its through my actions and effort or my voice. Along with playing soccer during my off season, I also participate in strength training 3-4 times a week. The performance gym I attend specializes in sport specific training. I have been going for almost 2 years and have become significantly faster, stronger, and overall more athletic, which has translated to my playing. I also love to train outside of club or high school, whether that be in my backyard or at a local soccer training facility that specializes on your first touch on the ball and accuracy on passing and shooting. As a 2025 graduate, I still have 3 more years of high school and I’m ready to keep working hard to make myself better.
