Personal Statement
Before club soccer I would be the only girl playing on teams that were just all boys. I was always aggressive and quick. Now, I'm just as aggressive, if not more, and my comfortableness with the ball at my feet is unique to my style of play. Despite being smaller than most of the players I go against, I have adapted my game into using my technicality to help me succeed.
I take every bit of coaching I get and am eager to fix mistakes. I am very open to trying new things and open to the idea of growing. I am a leader on and off the field and try to help my teammates whenever possible. I work as hard as I can every time I step on a field.
I want to play collegiate soccer so I will be able to grow my game from the higher level of competition. I intend to graduate with a masters degree and be able to get a job out of college.
In the classroom I'm a great competitive student. I have a 3.83 GPA and have always been in Honors classes. Apart from my core classes I am involved in two leadership clubs and many volunteer opportunities within my community. In the end, I want to make my family, friends, and the people around me proud while enjoying the competitive game and having fun.
