Addison Marinelli '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Addison Marinelli, I live in Westerville, Ohio, and I am in the graduating class of 2028. I plan to attend Westerville North High School to excel in both academics and sports. I enjoy playing softball and basketball however, my first love is soccer. My love for soccer started at the age of three through a program called Little Kickers. After two years of that, I started playing rec games at WASA. When I was eight, I started playing club soccer and have had the opportunity to play with multiple clubs in central Ohio (Westerville United, Columbus United, and Barça Academy Columbus.)  

As a Goalkeeper I have great foot skills, quick reactions, confidence, and I make decisions based on my strengths. The most important thing I do on the field is communicate. I communicate during the entire game so that I’m connected with everything that is happening on the field, not just what is happening in or around my 18.  

Before competing or practicing my academics are the most important part of my day. I pride myself on creating good study habits that allow me to succeed in the classroom, which can help me grow as an athlete. I’m enrolled in honors/advanced classes in Math, History, Language Arts, Science, and have enjoyed learning Spanish as an optional part of my coursework.
