Nikki McCall '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nikki McCall, and I have been playing soccer since I was five. I am (5'4''), fast, quick, strong, determined, and play at a 110% intensity level at all times. After practices, I enjoy staying after and working on my individual skills until it becomes to dark to see, and even then will put on my car headlights so I can finish up some more shooting. Since I can remember, playing soccer is what I've wanted to do. In high school I was a starter on varsity my freshman, sophomore, and junior year, and plan on it my senior year as well. My freshman year I was given 2nd Team All Conference in the IMC, and my sophomore, junior, and senior year I was awarded 1st Team All Conference Honors. My senior year I earned co-MVP of our conference and 1st Team All State. My freshman, sophomore, and senior years, our team went to state playoffs. My senior year I made a club team called Eastside United Chelsea. I love playing with this team because it offers me a chance to play against higher levels of competition and also play alongside girls who love soccer and want to compete as much as I do. I have been playing a lot in games, starting, and really enjoying my experience at the higher level. For college, I am not going to be too picky about location. I just want to go to a good college that offers what career education I am looking for, and of course has a soccer team. My desired major is physical therapy, and I am currently volunteering every week at a physical therapy office here in The Dalles. I am hoping to get scholarships for both academic and athletic reasons. I maintain a high GPA at all times, 3.7-4.0, and am taking some honors and advanced placement classes as well. In school, I get my assignments done the day they are assigned so I dont have to worry about them later on. I hate to procrastinate and fall behind. My goals in college are to play as a freshman and play at the highest competition level that I can. I know that I can play at the college level. I have been working my heart out since I began playing soccer in the AYSO league when I was five and up to the OYSA league in competetive soccer. Im a threat both offensively and defensively, and create opportunities for my teammates as well. The last three years I have lead the team in both goals and assists. I work hard on and off the field, and I work hard in and out of the classroom. I know that I am good enough, and I know I can contribute a lot to any team.
