Hello, my name is Brooke Mascaro. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and play for Beading S.C. I am currently playing attacking mid, but in the past, I have also played outside winger, outside back, and striker. I have been playing soccer since I was six years old and am very passionate about the game.
Growing up I played basketball, softball, and volleyball. Although I enjoyed playing each of these sports, soccer was my favorite. My goal has always been to play college soccer. I would like to play for a school that recognizes what I will contribute to them both on and off the field. My academics are also very important to me, so I am interested in a school that challenges me both academically and athletically.
I have been told that I am very coachable, a fast learner, and a good teammate. I am always willing to accept constructive criticism and face new challenges so that I can become the best player I can possibly be. I am always eager to learn from coaches and teammates to improve my soccer IQ. This is important to help improve my performance and contribute to my team.
In the past, I have played on teams that have had many selfish players, which led to unsuccessful seasons. I would like to be part of a team that feels like a family and plays together, not individually.
