I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I became interested in soccer from watching my older sister play and it quickly became a passion of mine. Playing with team members has taught me the importance of commitment, attitude, and work ethic. I have learned to be more of a leader on and off the field, as I am a captain on my club and school team. My overall goals, academically and athletically, for the remainder of high school are to maintain honor roll while being an active member of the National Honor Society and student council. I will continue to play at the varsity level for soccer, as I did freshmen and sophomore year. Throughout college, I want to continue my studies. I want to pursue forensic sciences or biochemistry. I would like to work on my player development as a student-athlete. Being a left foot dominant player, I have had to deal with comments and pressure about having a weaker right foot. This motivated me to work on strengthening my passing and shooting with my non dominant foot and becoming more comfortable working it during games and practices. My strength on the ball, speed, and technical skill as well as composure help me stand out and excel as a player.
