Laurel Boyer '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'7" defensive midfielder and center back from Lewisburg, Pa. I started on the Lewisburg Area High School varsity team this year as a freshman and earned 2nd team all-star for my conference this season. I play club soccer for North Union United 08 Valor and we played in the Mid Atlantic Premier EDP this past fall. Over the summer, we were runners up at 2022 President's Cup Nationals. We are going to play in the 2023 National Championship Series in the spring. I have a 96.26 GPA.

I am looking for a school where I can find the right balance of academics and athletics. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of physical therapy. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one that is supportive and competitive. I believe my best fit would be at a DI or DII program, although I will definitely consider high academic opportunities at DIII programs.

Outside of soccer, I am a competitive swimmer. I have been competing in winter YMCA swimming and the local summer swim team since I was 6 years old. I like breast stroke and free style best. Last summer I volunteered helping with the younger kids at summer swim team. I take piano lessons and have been playing for 5 years.

When I am not playing soccer myself, I enjoy helping my dad coach my brother's club soccer team. Recently I volunteered at my club's Winter Soccer Fest for younger players.
