Dedication, determination, and self-sacrifice are the philosophies I live by. To surpass my limits and self-improve are things I constantly strive to do. Furthermore, helping others fulfill these qualities and achieve their goals also brings me a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. Playing soccer grants me the ability to lead others, to help them and myself accomplish our goals. Having a team to share my ambitions with, and put my trust in is also part of why I love the sport, besides making use of all those hours spent practicing in perfecting techniques and plays. My intention with this scholarship is to be able to continue progressing in my career as a person and obtain an education in which I can develop in the world, in addition to bringing success and trophies for my college. I recognize that strengths such as; agility, speed, time management skills, team-building skills, resilience, and competitiveness are characteristics I, myself, uphold strongly and could be of use when implemented to any team. My adaptability grants me the ability to play any position needed and so does my experience in being bilingual and playing soccer for over 5 years. Ultimately, my skills and talents help any team boost their performance, and my commitment to my previous teams demonstrates my quality as a player.
