UPDATE:  I really want to thank the schools and coaches that recruited me, for the time you were willing to invest in me and for offering me the opportunity to continue playing soccer in college for you, to become a part of your team (soccer "families"!), to represent your schools, and to fulfill my dream(s).  I had the opportunity to visit and consider some great schools, and I've also met some great coaches/people along the way!  I am very grateful to all of you!  Through the process I was able to find the school that I feel is the best fit for me, not only for soccer but also for life success... I HAVE COMMITTED TO SOUTHERN WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY and can't wait to get on campus, join my teammates, and get to work!!!  Go Warriors!!!  

Personal Statement:  

Hi! My name is Addison Mack. I live in Irmo, South Carolina and play for Irmo High School and LSA FC (Lexington Soccer Academy). I’m class of 2025 and I am looking for the right college that will best help me reach both my athletic and academic goals!

I’m predominately LEFT FOOTED but also use my right foot almost just as effective. I primarily play DEFENSIVE MID and CENTER BACK. But I’m a versatile player able and willing to play wherever I can most benefit the team at any time. I was selected 1^st TEAM ALL-REGION (Region 5-AAAA) for this past 2023-24 soccer season with Irmo High School and was also a TEAM CAPTAIN.

I love being the team energy and a leader on the field! Even if we are down 3, I’m always motivating my teammates and pushing them to fight and compete 100% to the end! I like setting the tone and leading the way!

Both in club and school soccer I’ve averaged more minutes on the field than any other players. My conditioning and staying in shape is very important to me. I’m fast and have really strong stamina. I love staying on the field to compete and ensure that I am there for my teammates and helping my team to the best of my ability!

I’m looking for a college/program that is going to be the best fit for me throughout these upcoming years! The right MAJORS/ACADEMICS, the right CULTURE AND CAMPUS ENVIRONMENT, and a good SOCCER program that will allow me to continue to compete at the next level, develop me, push me harder, and help me become the best player and contributor to the team that I can be are all important to me. I want a college/program that will help me grow as a person and a player! I’m still looking and want to choose the best fit sooner than later!
