Kaia Henderly '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Kaia Henderly, and I would like to share why I believe I would be a strong candidate for your team. To begin with, although I usually play as an outside back, I am open to playing any position as needed. I maintain an open mindset and stay calm while playing. I understand that a bad attitude can negatively affect my performance and jeopardize my position on the field. 

I have a very strong right foot, and I am also training my left to become proficient with both feet. My right foot has contributed to various goals, including penalty kicks, long-range goals from the 30-yard mark, and close-range tap-ins. My ultimate goal is to take soccer seriously and hopefully earn a college scholarship.

I enjoy playing soccer because it should be a fun and stress-free experience. However, I also take it seriously and continuously work on improving my skills. In addition to soccer, I maintain high academic standards. I am a member of the National Honor Society and strive for straight A’s. 

I believe what sets me apart from other candidates is my passion for the sport, my commitment, and my ability to balance soccer with my academic responsibilities.
