I may not have as much experience as other athletes but what I have that many people cannot recreate is my determination. In order to succeed you must have the proper mindset to get to where you want to be. Just A Year Ago, I can fully admit that I was nothing compared to even a D3 College Athlete but I had the determination to show my coach that I refuse to become comfortable and be more than just a sub goal keeper. Unlike my other peers who are also Goal Keepers on the High school Team, with confidence I can say, I made sure to attend every training session and almost every game even if I didn't get the play time to show that Soccer is not just an extracurricular activity but my passion and a lifestyle. Many question why I put so much time in perfecting my skills in goal keeping, but my hard work and fast learning has clearly shown exhilarating results to the point where my coach can agree that I am capable to start my senior year on the varsity team and that improvement from a sub to a starter in a year should speak for itself. Of course I still have a long way to go and need to work on maintaining the consistency of my skills, but practice makes perfect. If you want a Goal Keeper who you can trust with the fact that they want to and will be at every training session , every game and have consistent growth, I would be more than thankful to be your Goal Keeper!
