Alexandra Martin '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Lexi Martin. I am truly passionate about playing soccer, having stepped on the field at age 3 and never looked back.  I have been with Lonestar Soccer Club since 2013, and currently play center back on their 07 GA Black team and have served as team captain for the past three years.  I have also been a Varsity starter since freshman year playing outside back for my high school team.   I have competed against girls who are D1 commits and played them very competitively. I am determined and driven, and love to challenge myself.  I feel I am a solid, reliable, and impactful player.  But I am also a good teammate, encouraging and supporting those around me.  I strive to be the best I can in everything I do, but especially in soccer. I work hard both athletically and academically, maintaining straight A's with a rigorous course load and demanding practice schedule.   I am looking forward to the opportunity to compete for a position and represent my future university as part of a collegiate-level women's soccer program, making memories, and creating strong bonds and life-long friendships while also pursuing my degree.
