One of the biggest highlights of my soccer career was going my whole sophomore varsity season undefeated and unscored upon. While it was amazing to end the regular season with more than 90 goals for, the most important part of the season was being able to improve and learning how to effectively combine and connect plays with my teammates, which has helped further improve my playing abilities in the long run. I believe that I am a very consistent passer, able to switch the field well, good at communicating from the back line, very physically present, an overall good team player, and very coachable.
Because of constantly being held back by coaches as a child in soccer, I know how it feels to desire something and want to work for it. I played at the same club for a long time, yet I was never given the chance to flourish. After having enough of constantly being held back, I took a major step out of my comfort zone and switched to a club where I knew no one, which was the best decision of my soccer career. I am looking for a school with a good soccer program where I can continue to improve while contributing to the team, and a school that also has an excellent academic program since grades and school are very important to me.
