Emerey Riley '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emerey Riley. I’m heading into my senior season at Port Neches- Groves High School. Not only do I play soccer, but I’ve been a member of the Girls Varsity Basketball program my entire high school career. Soccer is my first love and I cannot wait and see the future that’s held within it! My freshman and sophomore year I was put in a situation where I played as a goal keeper. The season I just recently played, junior season, I was placed back into the field. I have an abundance of experience from complete opposite sides of the pitch! Currently, I play as an attacking midfielder and a striker. I consider myself a play maker and someone who has impressive field vision. I have a pass first style of play, but will 100% shoot when given the opportunity. 

My academics are pretty well too. I'm a member of National Honor Society and have a 4.083 GPA. I've taken Gifted and Talented, Honors, and AP classes throughout high school. In the future, I see myself as a teacher/coach, so I'm heading into college as an education major.
