Personal Statement

I have been working toward achieving my goals my entire life.  At times I felt my parents were just being hard on me for no reason making me review my goals all the time. That they expected to much. My dad always tells me that a goal is just an idea until you write it down and begin to execute what it takes to achieve them. As I got older, I found that what they had done has prepared me for this next level in my life. As a freshman I started on varsity soccer, took Pre-AP classes in high school, and played TCL soccer. Now I’m headed into my Junior year playing NPL and was voted best goalie in TCL last year. We even made it to the National NPL finals in Colorado for our 2018-2019 season.

While my friends around me are partying and making poor choices. I am studying hard so I can graduate early and enroll in college early if possible. I am training daily, working on my weaknesses and perfecting my strengths. I even started compressions and cryotheraphy to prevent any injuries in the future. My ultimate goal is to join a soccer team that not only I can help win but help the community it is in to insure young ladies like me now,  can push forward and achieve their goals. I was always told leaders lead from the front. So when my parents gave me a opportunity to play soccer I went all in. I have experienced many ups and downs in my soccer career. The hardest being losing a state championship in the final seconds back in 2015. But as a team, we got stronger and I went on to have the best season of my life. My older sister plays college soccer now. I watch how my parents look at her in awe. And I appreciate so much the sacrifices they have made for me to play soccer at the highest level. God has blessed me with what my coaches call the total package. And that is what I plan to bring with me to college as I work toward becoming a surgeon one day and saving lives.

"Make today a great day"

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
